Party or Parties Guilty for Gulf Oil Spill

I think that BP is responsible for the gulf oil spill. It was their oil well and they should've had multiple groups of inspectors constantly checking on the well. Plus the concrete they used had failed multiple times before but it passed once and that was good enough for them. And then finally when the leak first started they didn't even react to it at first. They should've put a cover on it while it was still small enough. But it got out of hand and they tried and tried to cover it and then finally in July 3-4 months later, after millions of gallons of oil had been spilled. I think the head guy should be sentenced to life in jail because he was in charge of hiring crews to put a cover on it and he did a terrible job. The rest of the crew should all face either jail time or a expensive fine because they passed the concrete and did terrible jobs inspecting the well.

Coal Homework

Coal is called a fossil fuel because it's formed from the remains of vegetation grown as long as 400 million years ago. It's often referred to as buried sunshine, because the plants from which it's formed captured energy from the sun through photosynthesis to create the compounds that make up the plant tissues.

Danté's Peak

Three things that were scientifically incorrect:
1. When they drove through the lava
2. When the grandma went into the acidic lake and dies after a few miles, when she would die minutes after
3. They stood a few feet away from lava, and they didn't even get burnt

Three things that were scientifically correct:
1. The Vancouver observatory is a real place
2. They used seismic activity charts
3. He tested the P.H. of the water, which scientists use in real life

Mold and Casts because its bones are there but they aren't really bones they are made of minerals. I can tell because they're a reddish color.
